. : History : .

What The?! Entertainment has gone through many incarnations over the past 3 or 4 years. It started out as the joined website Saiyan Sanctuary with my co-webmaster Majin Trunks. It started out pretty crappy. Then it progressed over the years, incorporated Frames, used various resources found in Adobe Golive. I, in my first foray into the online comic world, began in the most primitive way, with Sprite Comics.

PsyGuy, creator of the hilarious That's My Sonic, and RittZ, creator of the badass Sonic ARGH, were the inspirations for my own comic, Where Are My Pants?  Yes, I am ashamed. But at the time, it was awesome. I still get a chuckle out of it every now and then. My common sense told me that if I wanted to make money online somehow, I would have to get out of the sprite comic business and into a more original comic medium. I started drawing and writing a few of my own comics.

I wrote the unfinished Kitty comic,, with help from Ashley Maez who also drew the comic. I plan to finish that one day. And I wrote and drew the also unfinished Chronicles of Myles, which I would love to complete. I also went to the trouble to learn Flash, and only made one cartoon, Hobo Adventures. Unfotunately, I'm a lazy bastard and never did another one. When I started talking to my friend Ian Hamilton more and more, we became better friends and I taught him how to use Macromedia Flash MX. We collaborated here and there on his comics, but he did most of the work. Luckily, I can still ride his coattails to fame and fortune. He needed some way to get his cartoons and comics on the web, and I could offer that. We also uploaded his cartoons to newgrounds, to be seen by a larger audience, where his cartoons have gained widespread acceptance. Mr. Ambiguous was even featured on the front page for about a week and a half and was seen by over a hundred thousand people.

The plan for the upcoming few years is to make this website totally kick ass and popular again so that we can make as much money as possible, by totally selling out. But doing it the cool, South Park way where we sell out but still please people with our kick assatry. So DONATE or BUY SOMETHING FROM THE STORE and we will continue evolving and striving to be the best we can be. - Myles
